VERY VERY BLOODYWELL ANNOYED!!!!

During our stay in Italy in September we were hit by a man on his Vespa - it was entirely his fault (no one was hurt) and he ran away from the scene of the accident, luckily we were about to turn into a private car park so there were cctv cameras that recorded everything and we were able to get his reg plate number which we gave to the hire car company, we have just been notified that they have tracked him down and he has no insurance, never has had........we are £495.00p out of pocket............damn! xx

No wonder the rat bastard ran away! Over here, if you use a credit card to rent a car the credit card company often adds free insurance. Does yours?

The world, my Love, is on its ear. My next door neighbor was stopped at a light, with a pickup truck in front of him, & a black & white next to him, when another driver behind them went into insulin shock & plowed, full speed, into my friend's car. Totaled, & he still owes $9k on it.
The insurance companies (both) are siding with the diabetic! They excuse the accident because of his medical condition (even though this is the third incident), & my friend is left hanging, seriously injured, & no way out but to declare bankruptcy.
WTF is wrong with this picture???
So I sympathize. Such a bitch when people get away with such nonsense. They should be accountable, completely.
