My stepfather came out of hospital on Monday and seems to be doing very well he still has a hole in his throat but its healing up nicely and he is so glad to be home, thanks to flist for all good wishes - smooches you all.
I am looking forward to the rugby on Saturday, I love the atmosphere of an international match, hope its not too cold in the stadium must remember to wear sensible underwear Yuck!!
Went to see Meet the Fockers this week it was very funny, not side splitting but a good movie, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand and Robert De Nero were so excellent it was worth seeing it just for them.
Going out to lunch up at a friends restaurant in the Welsh Valleys today, more market research really because he does carvery meals and we are thinking of starting them ourselves, we want to see a carvery set up in action and see how the customers deal with queuing up and not having hands on service and whether the food stays hot enough and so on.

i expected meet the fockers to be side splitting from what i have seen of the trailer it looks so funny me and hubby are going to see it one evening

Mmmmmm - carvery, yum!

Hope you have a good time at the rugby. We are going to rugby league (club) international Fri night in Leeds. My thermals will be packed too!

Thanks Lyndz, stepfather has made an amazing recovery of course he is still ill but he is breathing so much better now.
Can't wait for the thighs....I mean rugger!!!

What's a carvery?

A carvery is when you have the chef behind a long counter with all different roasts - you choose the roast you want and he carves it, put it on a warm plate and passes it to you, you then move down the counter helping yourself to the different vegetables and potatoes you want abd gravy and condiments... but we have to buy a very expensive counter and hot serving table to set this up, it all has to comply with health and safety standards.
