Well my dear flist what a week, just a few weeks after I posted a lovely pic of my son on his wedding day he has announced he is leaving his wife and has moved back here. His wife is absolutely devastated, I'm not going to pretend that she is my favourite person on earth because she isn't but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. They have had a very stormy relationship and it isn't a great surprise that they have split up, he has come home 3 times before because Kelly (his wife) has got them into serious financial difficulties, we bailed them out quite a few times but had to draw a line and eventually they sold their house and moved into rented accommodation, he said little to us but it was obvious that he was unhappy and even though he earns excellent money working for us and Kelly is on good money they are always broke and getting behind with the rent. I think all this has killed off his feelings for her, it has taken a long time. I fell very sorry for both of them and for my beautiful grandaughter Ffion and step grandson Jake they do not know what has hit them and they are missing their Dad, I have been down to see them several times and will be there if they need me but Kelly won't let my son see the children at the moment, I understand she is hurting but we have advised Francesco to seek legal advice. Kelly can be a very difficult girl to deal with I have always found her tricky and manipulative, wish us luck with all this it is going to be hell.

Yes it is very sad, and if I'm any judge it will get worse before it gets better - I don't think we have had to whole story yet.

Oh, this is terrible! How awful for everyone concerned. It's so, so sad when a marriage ends, especially when there are conflicts over the children. I'm so, so sorry to hear this, and my heart goes out to all of you. I hope this situation can be resolved amicably. Thank goodness your son has his family to help him through this.
