THE COTSWOLDS!! (lots of large pics)

Hubby and I had a lovely two days visiting the Cotwolds last Thursday and Friday - we spent almost the whole of Friday in Bourton-on-the-Water where we went to Birdland, we loved it! so many beautiful birds and we had the most amazing weather for the whole of the trip! - we had a lovely Italian meal then went back to the Bell Inn where we were staying and watched a live band called Vinyl Daze, which was a bonus we hadn't expected! they were great! and on the second night we were so tired from walking round Birdland and the shops that we stayed in the room and had fish n chips! fab!

Thats just some of the fabulous birds - we were there for hours it was wonderful. Hope you guys are all well and those of you in the UK are making the most of the weather!!! unbelievable!!

That's true! to be honest it was tough leaving Piero on his own but we live next to the hotel so his brother was able to check up on him and Ben our Grandson stayed over on the Friday so he could do a bit of fetching and carrying too.
The weather is just changing we've had a bit of rain this evening. xxx

I can remember going to Birdland when I was a kid. Then we reisited a few years ago - still loved it!

We were really lucky and managed to make the most of every minute! even got a bit of garden tidying down when I got home on Saturday morning. Birdland is fab, we were in there for about 3 hours and it passed so quickly. I regret that I didn't go and buy something from the Christmas shop I usually do, but I just couldn't think about Christmas in that lovely weather! xx
