Bloody Plumbers!

At the moment its bloodywell freezing here in South Wales and 6 of our 15 radiators have decided to stop working, this happened 3 weeks ago and dispite receiving promises from no less than 3 plumbers that they would come and fix them not one of the shitheads has turned up......this means that my sons room, my office, my bathroom and half of the upstairs hallway has no heating at all. The reason not one has turned up is of course because it is not a big job thats going to make them a fortune......and thats all they are interested in, even the guys who fitted our new boiler last year didn't turn up, after we paid them £800.00p for that job.......I'm sitting here in my fleecy housecoat...the one I promised myself I wouldn't wear until I was at least 90 years old! BRRRRRRRRRR!
Good Morning to you all, I hope you are all warm and happy wherever you may be, I am about to go downstairs and make myself some porridge and tea and maybe some toast and marmite.
I think I'll go late night Christmas Shopping tonight, see if I can make a start on the sisters, neices and nephews...I always leave my own boys and grandchildren and my Mum till the end, so that I can actually enjoy buying them.Mr ffiondove and I always buy an item we both want between us....this year we are treating each other to a Bose hi - fi system.....looooovely!

Ah yes - our boiler packed in two weeks ago, just to co-incide with the first sub zero temperatures, it is fixed now.

trying to liase with puppy's current mum about delivery times - so far telephone ping pong!

Tell me about your puppy, I didn't even know you wanted one, what kind of pup is it? male? female? colour? is it for guard dog purposes or a lap dog or a pet for the family? whats its name?..........when will he be living with you?.
Our rabbit died the week before last....he was run over by a car when the postman left our gate open....he had a hutch for sleeping in but spent his days wandering around the garden.....his name was Ben and he had one floppy ear.

Jack Russell, puppy, name of Ollie, white with brown markings on his body and a bit of black on his face.

Pet dog purposes, and he is 7 weeks old so can't leave his mum for another week, but I'm then away so I want him to come on the 18 of Dec and if not then the 23rd....hence ping pong phone calls!

I told Hubby about Ollie and his immediate response was "When can we go and dog-sit for them?" We have found some friends who have already volunteered to dog-sit for us before we've even got a dog!

We had a Jack Russell!!! his name was Spike and he was wonderful...I'll find some pics and scan them to show you, he got old and died....but he was so funny, a great comedian and an absolute rogue into the bargain......you will just love him! excellent choice.

Oh, dear! So sorry to hear about your plumbing woes. I hope someone has shown up by now. (And I'd pay good money to see you in that fleecy housecoat! You sexy thang, you! Heehee!)

Fortunately my heat is working fine, which is good because it's very cold here also. We had a snowstorm last night and it dumped about 10cm of the white shit on us. Luckily I didn't have to take the car out today because the roads were a mess.

Hope you're keeping warm with lots of hot chocolate, tea, and maybe a little brandy thrown in for fun!
